Doctor of Ministry (DMin)
Intended for advanced post-graduate study beyond the Master of Divinity in our clergy/pastoral track.
Requires 36 credit hours of study beyond the requirements for the Master of Divinity degree.

Master of Divinity (MDiv)
Our traditional systematic plan and track of study for ministers pursuing a pastoral ministry.
Requires 90 credit hours of study beyond the Bachelor of Theology or Biblical Studies degrees.
In addition, a 10,000 word thesis (equivalent to 4 semester hours of research and study) must be written on a topic pre-approved by Berit faculty.

Pastoral Mentorship Degree Programs
Doctor of Biblical Studies (DBS)
Our D.B.S. (Doctor of Biblical Studies) and M.B.S. (Master of Biblical Studies) are our Lay-Leader Programs designed for Missionaries, Elders, Eldresses and Deacons.
Students desiring to study for these Degrees must have completed the M.B.S. degree requirements. Students who have not received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree will be awarded a "Certificate of Studies" in lieu of the M.B.S. Degree. Students currently holding a Masters Degree may apply to study for the Doctor of Biblical Studies Degree.
Requires 36 credit hours of study beyond the requirements for the Master of Biblical Studies degree.

Master of Biblical Studies (MBS)
Our M.B.S. (Master of Biblical Studies) is our Lay-Leader Program designed ideally for Missionaries, Elders, Eldresses and Deacons. Students desiring to study who have not completed study for their Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree will be awarded a "Certificate of Biblical Studies" in lieu of a Master's Degree. This degree is nominally accreditied by our inner Denomination's General Assembly in the Presbyterian Church.
Requires 60 credit hours of study.
In addition, a 10,000 word thesis (equivalent to 4 semester hours of research and study) must be written on a topic pre-approved by Berit faculty.
